Bridgewater is the central hub of the South Shore, serving the surrounding towns and villages like Lahave, Mahone Bay, Chester, Lunenburg, New Germany, Caledonia, Liverpool or Shelburne to mention just a few. You can pick your lifestyle from country living to lake or oceanfront, or in a town.  All of the South Shore is well supported by tourism because of all we have to offer. Our coastline enjoys tempered weather thanks to the Gulf Stream.
